Types of tooling cleaned

Customer supplied a Spinneret that’s used for extruding polypropylene fibers for sample cleaning. All material was removed from the fiber feed holes and internal channels after 30 minutes at 900F.

AEK was removed from the breaker plate after 40 minutes at 1000F.

This extrusion profile die was thermally cleaned in a Fluidized Bath for 35 minutes at 875F. All of the Flexible PVC was removed. The temperature could be reduced to 825F with similar results.

The customer supplied us with several hooks that were coated with Powder coat paint. The paint was reduced to an ash after 30 minutes at 950F and could be easily wiped off with a rag after [...]

A 12” long feed screw with HDPE on it was supplied for cleaning. All material came off quite nicely at 850F for 40 minutes. An ultimate recipe of 825F for 45 minutes would work fine for this part.
