Types of plastic removed

The Fluidized Bath easily pyrolyzed the large amount of Polycarbonate and ABS plastic inside the tip and nozzle supplied by the customer.

These extrusion parts were filled and coated with HDPE containing silane. All material was removed after 40 minutes at 850F in the Fluidized Bath.

PVC was completely removed from small extrusion tooling with relative ease. Parts were wiped off with a rag afterwards.

0.8 lbs of TPO was removed from the breaker plate which weighed 4.4lbs after cleaning.

A breaker plate filled with dense silicone rubber was supplied for thermal cleaning. All material was removed after 60 minutes at 975F and the assembly easily came apart including screens.
